The 9th All New SeattleComedy.net. Please. Save your applause.

SeattleComedy.net is like the website that cried wolf...and suffers from a terrible stutter.

This is the 9th relaunch of a website that always seems like a good idea when it goes up and then seems like a horrible mistake when it collapses under its own weight.

So...gone are the empty pages of Seattle comedian biographies. If you're a comedian and want to a link to your MySpace page on our LINKS page...send it in and that'll be that. It'll be up to you to keep it updated, accurate and useful.

Gone too is the rather useful calendar for all of the comedy happenings in the area. I'm bummed about that, too, frankly...because I used it on my CrackBerry many times. It simply took too much time. However, what I'm willing to do is to add a post to this blog with info on what's coming up this week and what's to look forward to... Any more than that, you'll have to dig up on your own, I'm afraid.

By making this blog the main page of the site, I can keep it updated regularly whether or not I'm at home or touring...and, because it'll be easier to maintain, I should have more time to post more often here.

You know what they say...the 9th time's the charm.

There's still a good reason to continue trying to shine a spotlight on what's happening, comedy-wise, in Seattle...and that's just one reason why SeattleComedy.net will continue.
